Everyone with a website knows how difficult it is to put all the information your customer needs to know out on their websites. Although we try, there are still many unanswered questions. We welcome your call or email anytime and love talking to you about our property and the beautiful area around us, but we thought we would answer some of the most Frequently Asked Questions now. Maybe some of yours are right here:
Most Frequently Asked Questions:
1) What is your smoking policy? We have a NO smoking policy for all of our cottages, the game room and laundry room. Cans are provided outside the door of each building.
2) Do you allow pets? We have recently changed our pet policy to allow small dogs (25 lbs or less) in some of the cottages, not all. Must be arranged at reservation. Pets are allowed in the RV Park. Same rules for both cottages & RV Park, you must keep them on a leash and pick up after them. We have a trail that leads down to the river and lots of room around the park for walking your pet.
3) What time is Check in and Check out? Cottages: Check In is 2:00 pm. Check Out is 11:00 am. RV Park: Both Check In & Check Out time is 12:00 noon. If you will be arriving later than 9:00 pm, please let us know. For later Check out time, if allowed, make arrangements with the office first.
4) Do you have a pool? Is it heated? Yes, we have a very large 50 x 50 T-shaped pool. No it is not heated (unless you count naturally - by the Sun)
5) What is your Cancellation Policy? We require 7 days notice for cancellation at no charge. Holiday weekends which have a 3-day minimum, require 2 weeks notice. We know emergencies occur and we try to be as flexible as possible. All we ask for is a phone call to talk to us about your situation. No call at all will result in loss of your deposit.
6) Do your cottages have Air Conditioning? Air Conditioning is available for the cottages at an additional cost of $5.00 per day. Ask at the office for more information.
7) Do you have a Laundromat? Yes we do. We have a small laundry facility with 2 washers, and 2 dryers. There is a clothesline right outside the door if you prefer line drying. It also has a large folding table, TV, and sitting area for your comfort. Iron’s are available upon request. We sell soap & supplies at the office.
8) How far are you from Mt. Washington, the Cog Railway & the Auto Road? We are 9 miles to the base station if you want to take the train. We are approx. 30 miles from the Auto Road and you can get some of the most beautiful pictures of Mount Washington from the front part of our property, (it's just 5 miles up the road) so bring your camera.
9) How far are you from Santa's Village & Storyland? We are approx. 20 minutes from Santa's Village and 30 minutes from Storyland.
10) How far are you from Bretton Woods Mountain Resort? We are just 5 miles from Bretton Woods and the Mount Washington Hotel.
